idac is the leading international conference for the retail fuel sector, attracting multiple MOC groups and renown speakers from around the world since it was first launched in 2015. Most recently idac was staged in Amsterdam last May.

Speaker programmes for 2018 will feature dedicated streams on IT, Marketing, Design, Engineering and Shop Retail, involving as many key manufacturers and providers as possible to make presentations alongside five key note guest MOC speakers.

Leading guest MOC speakers at idac 17 included Ruth Leach, VP Global Engineering of Shell.

A re-focussed erpec will run as part of the idac programme, allowing the opportunity for all delegates to request meetings with those suppliers taking part.

A more time and cost effective erpec programme will feature at idac 18

CEO of McLean Events, Nick Needs commented “With idac, we have made tremendous in roads into establishing a leading educational conference for the international marketplace and we will continue building on this success for many years to come. Having now reached a degree of maturity, over the last few years, idac is now a fully fledged event and it is an exciting time for everyone to be involved with this event."

The dates and location of idac 18 are based on strategic research carried out with MOCs and leading international retailers which revealed a strong preference towards attending industry events staged ideally outside the busy Autumn and Spring periods.

Nick Needs added; "A great deal has changed in Europe since McLean Events launched erpec 20 years ago. Staying at prestigious hotels and flying around the world is now common place amongst busy industry executives, who's workloads have increased dramatically over the last decade. Amazingly when I think back, our early erpec events were staged over a weekend, which today would simply be a non starter. The key premiums today, most significantly, are education, effective networking and time."
