Nigerian Army to build its own filling station network

Nigeria Army Property Limited has commissioned its own oil and fuel station. Recently constructed in the west central Nigerian city of Minna, it is one of the stations the Army plans to build in 36 states of Nigeria. The 24-hour filling station has four pumps for petrol and one pump each for diesel and kerosene, a supermarket and a vehicle repair workshop.

There are also plans to build a Gas Plant behind the station as the Chief of Defence Staff General Gabriel Olonisakin laid a foundation stone for its construction. “The establishment of the NAPL projects will afford the Nigerian Army optimal utilisation of its human and material assets into profitable business ventures towards improving the welfare and well-being of the Nigerian armed forces personnel and their families and also the general public.
