My Eco Energy rolls out Indizel fuel that lowers vehicle emissions

In India My Eco Energy, has developed a renewable fuel that lowers vehicle emissions. Known as Indizel it is a fuel made from renewable vegetable oils and according to a company statement meets Euro VI requirements.

The benefits of Indizel a non-petroleum based fuel are not only low emissions but also sustainable energy. The fuel is believed to have met stringent automotive fuel quality standards and is compatible with existing fuel infrastructure, distribution systems and engines, says the company statement.

Since Indizel burns cleaner than petroleum- based fuels, it leads to lower emissions of carbon-monoxide, particulate matter and unburned hydrocarbons. Generally fuels contain sulphur at a quantity of 500 ppm (parts per million) however, Indizel contains sulphur at a quantity of less than 10 ppm.
