Unioil pushes for greener future with 'Doing Our Part' campaign

Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc. has recently launched its ‘Doing Our Part’ campaign, encouraging Filipinos to make a difference in society through the everyday actions and decisions they make, including the choice of using a cleaner fuel such as their new range of Euro 5 fuels.

In order to give consumers a cleaner and better alternative without the extra cost, Unioil introduced its Euro 5 compliant fuels back in September 2017.

The new line of fuels are said to be 5 times cleaner than Euro 4 standard fuels and provide up to 77% less emissions compared to Euro 4, which provides better engine performance while making fewer emissions.

Apart from the new Euro 5 fuels, Unioil also began its “Hybrid” station program with the installation of Smartflower solar technology in one of its newest retail stations.

They have also put up Airvisual nodes in to monitor air quality in select areas along with having one of the first commerically available electric vehicle chargers in one of its retail stations.

“For the past 50 years, Unioil has always been putting innovative petroleum solutions in the hands of consumers. Today, we continue this by introducing breakthrough ways to harness solar power, promote the use of electric vehicles, and drive with cleaner fuel,” said Kenneth Pundanera, president of Unioil.
