Tokheim, part of Dover Fueling Solutions, has received the dispenser tender approval from one of indias leading oil marketing company's, Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL)
This is Tokheim’s second successive win from BPCL in 12 months, following the first dispenser tender award in 2016. This win will allow for 5,000 of the Tokheim Quantium™ fuel dispensers with enhanced fraud prevention features, to be installed across BPCL’s retail network in India.
BPCL is an Indian state-controlled Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking active in the oil and gas industry. According to the company website, the Corporation’s mission is to “offer world-class fuel stations across the country, selling petrol, diesel, automotive LPG and CNG” in the network of nearly 14,000 forecourts nationwide.
ATccording to a Tokhein press release, the Tokheim Quantium dispenser range has been designed specifically for the requirements of the India, Africa & Middle East markets to handle a variety of fuel types.
The ‘H-type’ pump has a simple hanging hose system for ease-of-use and meets the varying regional market requirements. The enhanced fraud prevention features a tamper-proof security system to ensure that customers will not suffer loss of fuel sales.
Additionally, the Quantium dispensers are manufactured under Tokheim’s renowned Quality control, and are delivered with a set of innovative and robust global components to ensure greater reliability in operations.
