BP Asia Pacific president takes over as Romania CEO of OMV Petrom

OMV Petrom will replace its CEO Mariana Gheorghe with BP’s Asia Pacific President Christina Verchere.

Austria’s OMV said on Tuesday that Verchere (46) would take the role President of the Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its Romanian subsidiary OMV Petrom.

The appointment has been made for the remaining term of the mandate granted to the current CEO Mariana Gheorghe, until April 16, 2019.

Verchere ill assume the position depending on her availability, at the latest with effect from May 21, 2018.



According to OMV Mariana Gheorghe waived her mandate as President of the Executive Board and CEO of OMV Petrom.
