The Shell Company of Thailand has announced a business direction that will strengthen its non-fuel retail businesses, along with the expansion and renovation of petrol stations across the country.
Attention will also be given to delivering the best service for Thai motorists, in line with Shell’s purpose in “Making Life’s Journey Better”.
This will help Shell stations become “Happiness Stations” for all Thai consumers said Ornuthai Na Chiagmai executive director of retail business .
The company aims to achieve a 50:50 split between fuel and non-fuel components by 2025, she said. Shell will expand the number of Deli Café branches by some 30 per year from the existing 55 outlets.
Shell SELECT, meanwhile, aims to be a shopping destination stocking a full range of products with an emphasis on ready-to-eat food, snacks and drinks, Ornuthai said.
The outlets come complete with a lounge where consumers can sit, relax and enjoy the company’s “Delightful Sensation” design concept.
Shell aims to renovate 76 SELECT outlets this year.
