Repsol opens its first service station in Mexico

Located in Mexico City, the fuel station’s opening will be officially announced on March 12, reported El Financiero.

According to PetrolPlaza, María Victoria Zingoni, Executive Managing Director Downstream Business of Repsol, will be present and she will disclose the oil company’s expansion plans in the country

Repsol is one of several MOC's which has now declared its hand in the Mexico marketplace along with BP, Total, ExxonMobil, Shell, and Chevron now that state-owned oil compny Pemex’s monopoly has come to an end

In 2013, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto introduced reforms to liberalize the country’s energy industry. Repsol has approximately 4,700 service stations around the world
