Istobal will be the main supplier of new equipment for automatic carwash systems at Cepsa fuel stations in Spain and Portugal. Through this new agreement Spain´s second largest fuel station network, Cepsa, partners with Europe’s second manufacturer of automatic carwash systems. Istobal will be in charge of supplying 70% of new equipment and 75% of maintenance for the Cepsa network. The operation poses great potential for Istobal as Cepsa currently has a network of over 1,700 stations, of which only 246 have automatic carwash services. The three-year deal strengthens Istobal´s position as market leaders in Spain, with the new Cepsa agreement adding to existing deals with other major fuel operators such as Repsol, BP and Galp.
