Israeli waterless carwash raises start up capital from leading investors Theodore Gur and Alex Nagorski

Bonshine, an Israeli company that offers mobile and eco-friendly auto cleaning service, has raised $1.5 million from investors Theodore Gur and Alex Nagorski.

The company does thousands of waterless cleaning services a month using a plant-based liquid and five types of wax made by Italian company Mafra. Led by former Gett CEO David Glatman, the company currently has 40 employees in its offices in Petah Tikva, Israel and has plans to expand to the United States this year and later on to Australia.

Bonshine has also developed a mobile application that can be downloaded free of charge. Through the app, a cleaning service can be arranged at a requested location, pay the service using a credit card, provide feedback and even give a tip.
