In Argentina, Axion will add its service stations to the new carsharing system

The oil company Axion energy will offer vehicle rental for minutes, hours or days at its service stations, as a delivery or return point. The car sharing program, in partnership with Awto, will also include discounts and benefits for its users.

The company Awto reached an agreement last March with the Argentine subsidiary of the car manufacturer Nissan to offer different models of the brand as part of its 'cars haring' offer.

Axion Energy will become the first oil company to enter this new mobility solution, even though YPF announced last year a similar strategic alliance with Toyota that has not been put into pratice yet.

Marketing Director, Axion Energy, Cecilia Panetta, is confident that "the system will have excellent acceptance from existing and new customers, saying " The number of stations will increase as time goes by and projections are confirmed".

Customers who pick up or drop off vehicles at an Axion site will enjoy a 10% discount on fuel, as well as an additional 15 minutes on their next trip for filling the tank.

Awto is currently operating in Buenos Aires and Gran Buenos Aires, but it plans to expand to other cities in the next 12 months.
