Following a number of cancellations and expressions of concern from delegates as regards the coronavirus, APAC Petroforum Bangkok, scheduled to take place on March 3-4 this year has been cancelled. With more and more travel restrictions that are being put into place, thus making it difficult for delegates to attend the event, the organisers, Openroom Events were left with no option but to postpone, with the hope of re scheduling for later in the year.
This unfortunately is not the first industry event to be cancelled and most probably it won't be the last as Frankfurt's Light & Building has become the latest fair to be postponed over coronavirus fears and will now take place in September instead of March. The show, which describes itself as "the world’s leading trade fair for lighting and building-services technology," was due to take place in Frankfurt from 8 to 13 March.
