Filling station missing 4000 gallons of fuel

More than 4,000 gallons of fuel are missing from an underground tank, according to a sheriff’s office incident report in the US.

The manager of the Short Trip in Orangeburg S.C. tested the underground tank at 1:30 a.m. Saturday. It contained 4,273 gallons of gasoline.

When he checked it again at 5 a.m., the tank contained only three gallons. The estimated value of the missing gasoline is $8,500. No conclusions have been drawn as yet.
