Walmart launches its new grocery pick-up and gas station concept in Denver, USA

The 4,000-square-foot Walmart (NYSE: WMT) store is the second one in the country for the mega-retailer and grocery store and it's a new concept of an online grocery order pick-up location, a convenience store that sells hot sandwiches and coffee, as well as a gas station.

"The concept was born because at Walmart we are constantly looking for ways to add convenience. Customers are changing the way they shop and we want to make sure we are changing too," said Gina Kretoski, Walmart eCommerce market coach who was in Thornton Thursday to talk with customers.

The company opened its first pick-up and fuel station in April in Huntsville, Alabama.
