Apple chief Tim Cook has finally confirmed that the company has been working on an "autonomous system" but kept mum on whether it is developing its own vehicle.
Cook said in an interview with Bloomberg Television that "it's probably one of the most difficult A.I projects to work on."
He also acknowledged disruptive technological trends in the car industry like self-driving technology, electric vehicle, and ride-hailing applications.
Last year, Apple invested $1 billion in China’s ride-sharing company Didi Chuxing.
