New $5.1m Shell service station planned for Perth Airport site

A $5.1million Shell service station and adjoining coffee outlet is set to be built directly outside the Perth Airport entrance.

Under the proposal, the unused warehouse at the site would be demolished to make way for a Gloria Jeans coffee outlet, operating between 6am and 6pm, and a 14-bowser Shell service station.

“The subject site currently contains a large warehouse/workshop of approximately 2250sqm , large hardstand areas and a wash-bay for vehicles which, until recently, were servicing a business providing a valet parking service for Perth Airport customers,” the report found.

“Due to Brearley Avenue’s recent closure, Fauntleroy Avenue has become the main entrance to Terminals 3 and 4 of the Perth Airport for those people travelling from the east.
