The Bangkok-based petrol giant and retail operator opened 61 new Café Amazon stores in the three months ended 30 September 2023 to reach 4,432 stores globally – 4,045 of which are in Thailand.
In March 2023, PTTOR outlined plans to open 400 new Café Amazon outlets globally in 2023. The business has opened 173 net new stores in the first nine months of the year.
Founded in 2002, Café Amazon is Thailand’s largest branded coffee chain with nearly 2,200 of its stores located at PTTOR’s PTT petrol station footprint. The chain is also present in shopping centres and Bangkok’s MRT and BTS rail networks.
Café Amazon also operates 387 stores across Cambodia, China, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, , Vietnam, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
