First integrated fuel station in China

China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) has opened its first pan-industry integrated energy station in Huaqiao, Jiangsu Province, China. This station is equipped to provide a complete fueling experience able to cater to conventional and alternative energy vehicles.

The site offers oil, gas and hydrogen refueling, charging and battery swap services, dining and shopping services. The station is also equipped with intelligent robotic refueling arms, charging poles and other facilities. Drivers can complete their charging processes in 10 minutes and battery swap in less than 3 minutes. Furthermore, the station is equipped to fill 35MPa high-pressure hydrogen, with a capacity of about 500kg/12h.

This new site is part of Petrochina’s move to embark on the fast track of new energy transition and development in its fuel retail business. In 2023, driven by the national “Dual Carbon” goals, CNPC has been redoubling its efforts in new energies business development under the three-step strategy of “clean alternatives, strategic replacement and green development”.

So far, CNPC has built 1,305 PV and storage stations, 718 charging and swap stations, 18 hydrogen refueling stations and 62 integrated energy service stations
