Michelin star chef Soenil Bahadoer at Shell stations

Following in the footsteps of Dutch heroes, Shell is introducing the theme ‘Taste the world’s cuisine’ throughout the Nederlands.

Every quarter, Shell will introduce a new themed range inspired by world flavours. This quarter, the focus is on Surinamese and Indian cuisine and Shell entered into a temporary collaboration with Soenil Bahadoer, chef and owner of the two Michelin-starred restaurant De Lindehof. The specials developed by Soenil are now available at all Shell stations with a bakery in the Netherlands.

Assortment full of worldly flavours

For this collaboration, chef Soenil Bahadoer developed the recipes for the bara chicken and roti. Besides Soenil’s specials, they’re also temporarily including other products in their range. These include gingerbread, spicy tikka masala bun, ginger latte, dirty chai latte and delicious tropical juices.

“With the introduction of ‘Taste the World Cuisine’, we want to offer our guests a changing range and remain distinctive in the market. This way we introduce our guests to flavours from all over the world,” said Kees van Wezel, Head of Foodservice Benelux & France at Shell Retail.
