Shell and Lekkerland are continuing their partnership. The focus of the cooperation is on expanding the shop business at the approximately 2,000 Shell stations throughout Germany. Specifically, the foodservice offering and the Shell Café shop concept are to be optimised.
Lekkerland will also remain a delivery partner for all assortments offered at Shell petrol station shops. These include foodservice products, beverages, confectionery, tobacco products, prepaid products and car accessories.
The needs of customers will change in the course of the energy and mobility transition, Shell knows. "For example, charging electric vehicles will extend the stay. Accordingly, we are constantly adapting our offers and services at the stations," assures Jan-Hendrik Starken, Managing Director at Carissa, head of the Shell Shop business.
Patrick Steppe, CEO of Lekkerland, is pleased: "Together, we will continue to develop the shop business, taking into account the transformation of the petrol station segment. Our common goal is to meet trends and new consumer requirements in the best possible way. This includes, among other things, continuously expanding the range of fresh snacks for a conscious diet on the go."
