Cepsa has announced that the Oiartzun and Aritzeta service stations, strategically located in the province of Guipúzcoa, will remain under the direct management of Cepsa until 2029. These stations, which register an average daily traffic of around 40,000 vehicles, according to figures provided by the energy company.
In order to promote sustainable mobility, Cepsa plans to implement some changes at both stations. This includes the installation of solar panels and the introduction of ultra-fast electric charging points, to offer greener options to drivers.
In addition to the infrastructure modifications, Cepsa announced that it will expand the complementary services available at these stations. To cater to both professionals and private customers, the introduction of 100% renewable diesel (HVO) and the expansion of services such as the R'SPIRO corner, where customers can purchase sweet and savoury pastries, bread, and coffee are planned
These initiatives are part of Cepsa's broader strategy towards 2030, called 'Positive Motion', which seeks to position itself as a leading player in the energy transition and sustainable mobility. To this end, the company is transforming its network of service stations into digitised spaces with the aim of offering "a range of ultra-convenience services and multi-energy solutions, adapting to the changing needs of its customers and the global challenge of decarbonisation".
