The first Circle K location in the Netherlands has opened at the Bijleveld service station, situated along the A12 highway near Harmelen. This station, previously branded as TotalEnergies, is now being transformed into a Circle K convenience store.
The conversion process is expected to be completed within a week, and by the end of March, travellers will have access to the Circle K offerings at this location. Following Bijleveld, the TotalEnergies service stations at Schiphol and Reeuwijk are also slated for conversion to Circle K before May 1, 20241.
Circle K, a brand under the Canadian retailer Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc., is known for its focus on convenience and quality. Their product range caters to travelers, offering items like hotdogs, sandwiches, baguettes, and their signature Circle K-brand coffee available for self-service.
Additionally, they provide a variety of chilled beverages, multipack promotions, and strategically placed impulse items. Internationally, Circle K has become a major player in the convenience market, aiming to replicate this success in the Netherlands and other new markets1.
Soon, the Circle K brand will be a familiar sight for travellers across the Netherlands, providing a convenient and distinctive experience at service stations.
