Vintrica, a provider of digital toll solutions, have developed the E-Vignette Self-Service Kiosk for the purchase of e-vignettes. As a toll portal for Europe's motorways, Vintrica is thus expanding the options for motorists to pay the tolls
Fuel station operators – especially on motorways close to national borders – are losing customers as a result. The new Vintrica E-Vignette Kiosk aims to show how petrol stations can benefit from the digitalisation of toll systems. Traditional adhesive vignettes, which are usually purchased shortly before national borders, are losing importance due to digital variants
At the self-service terminal, customers will be able to complete the purchase process of digital vignettes on site in just a few minutes: from selection on the touchscreen, contactless payment by card (debit and credit) or Apple or Google Pay, to the issuance of the QR code as confirmation of purchase.
Petrol station operators can thus continue to use the decisive advantages of the vignette business.
According to the manufacturers, the Vintrica E-Vignette Self-Service Kiosk is designed to save space and fits into the premises of petrol stations. At the same time, it wants to offer modern technology and a high level of ease of use through a touchscreen and user-friendly menu navigation. In addition, the devices can be serviced completely remotely, which should reduce downtime and effort. The Vintrica E-Vignette Kiosk is available now.
