The Libya Africa Investment Portfolio (LAIP) announced today that its Ola Energy petrol stations subsidiary, one of its largest subsidiaries, \has commenced its expansion plans, with two new fuel stations being completed in Tunisia.
LAIP revealed that each of the petrol stations was built on an area of more than 20,000 square meters to provide all the necessary services for road users.
The opening of the two Aqrab stations, LAIP said, is part of Ola Energy’s plan to expand its services, noting that there are another four stations in Tunisia already under construction.
It will be recalled that LAIP had rebranded its ”Oil Libya” petrol stations to ”Ola Energy” petrol stations. LAIP announced that Ola Energy had achieved ‘‘record profits in 2023’’. It said its Ola Energy subsidiary is ‘‘Africa’s leading energy retailer’’.
Ola Energy says it has over 1,300 service stations across 17 African countries, over 60 fuel terminals, with presence in over 50 Airports across Africa, with 8 blending plants, and numerous fuel depots.
