12 CNG retail stations for Nigeria

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has inaugurated 12 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) retail outlets in Lagos and Abuja, marking a significant step towards providing Nigerians with cheaper and cleaner energy sources.

During the inauguration ceremony, NNPCL’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Mele Kyari, emphasised the company’s commitment to CNG as an alternative energy source.

He stated that the transition to CNG is irreversible, emphasising the importance of sustainable and affordable fuel for the country.

The Chairman of the Presidential CNG Initiative, Mr. Toyin Zaubairu, highlighted the sustainability and current underutilization of natural gas, advocating for its broader adoption as a key energy resource
