Dover Fueling Solutions, a Dover company that delivers advanced fuel dispensing equipment, electronic systems and payment, fleet systems, automatic tank gauging and wet stock management, is pleased to announce it has been selected to supply a complete forecourt solution for PT Vivo Energy Indonesia.
PT Vivo Energy Indonesia is the latest foreign oil company to establish its pioneer Company Owned Company Operated (COCO) retail fueling station in the suburbs of Jakarta, Indonesia. This was no small accomplishment given Vivo Energy’s lean organizational structure and a tight timeline of six months from conception to the opening which occurred in September 2017.
The Wayne Helix™ 5000 fuel dispenser was selected for the flagship station thanks to its sophisticated technology and the sleek, stylish design that fulfills the company’s vision of a modern fueling station concept. The design of the Helix dispenser allows the Vivo insignia and brand to be proudly showcased on the door panel and valance structure to foster a strong brand awareness.
On the automation front, DFS provided the Wayne Fusion™ forecourt system with the Tokheim ProGauge automatic tank gauge (ATG) to monitor and control the operations of the station. The Fusion forecourt system plays a vital role as the heart of the operation and allows for full control of the dispenser, ATG, point-of-sale (POS), attendant tag, periodical reporting, remote access and more to the site. More importantly, the Fusion forecourt controller is a scalable system that helps Vivo Energy to add future features without incurring hefty architectural changes. Some of the added features that DFS customers can experience are credit card or mobile payments, integration to convenience store POS or fleet management for corporate customers. All these factors tie-in to PT Vivo Energy’s vision to provide a “no-fuss and no-frills” fueling concept to their respective customers.
James Khoo, General Manager Retail for Vivo Asia, stated, “We have selected Dover Fueling Solutions as our primary supplier due to their strong presence in the region and their complete portfolio.”
Chris Cooper, General Manager for DFS Asia, noted, “DFS is extremely proud to be selected to work hand-in-hand as the trusted partner for this project. The success of this flagship station is a testament to the great teamwork present between PT Vivo Energy Indonesia and DFS. It was also a good avenue to showcase the DFS efforts and commitment to help the customer achieve their business vision and goals; no matter how small or big.”
