Significant funds have been invested in the continued modernisation of NIS the retail network along with huge increased expenditure in the field of oil and gas exploration and production, exceeding 200 million euros.
This increase represents a 111% rise compared with the same period last year. NIS said in a statement to the Belgrade bourse that its priority during the period under review was regular market supply with petroleum products amid the turnaround of the Pancevo oil refinery, which it described as the most complex one in the plant's history. The company launched the 95 million euro overhaul of the refinery in February.
