Präg equips petrol station with photovoltaics

Präg has equipped a total of four filling stations in the Bavarian Swabia area with PV systems. Surplus electricity is fed into the grid. In this way, Präg not only wants to improve the greenhouse gas balance, but also improve the competitiveness of the respective location.

Energy service provider Präg has completed the energy-efficient modernization of a total of four filling stations in its filling station network in the Bavarian Swabia area:

68 PV modules with a total capacity of 29.58 kWp have been supplying the PIN filling station in Langenau with clean energy since April of this year.

56 PV modules with a total capacity of 24.36 kWp have been supplying the petrol station in Krumbach with electricity from the roof since July of this year.

68 PV modules with a total capacity of 29.58 kWp have been supplying the filling station in Offingen sustainably since July of this year.

Surplus electricity is fed into the grid. A particular challenge was the statics, which varied from location to location, which required individual planning in each case. Johannes Hage, Retail Manager at Präg, believes the company is on the right track: "By using energy consciously, we are not only improving our greenhouse gas balance, but also strengthening the competitiveness of the respective location in the long term."
