New DACH General manager for Shell

Shell has appointed Florian Glattes as new General Manager Mobility for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He will be responsible for the company’s service station business in these countries, succeeding Linda van Schaik, who successfully held this position for three years..

Glattes has been working in the Shell Group for almost 20 years, working in various positions with a focus on marketing and sales in the Mobility, Lubricants and Aviation business areas. Most recently, he was Vice President of E-Mobility Solutions, where he was responsible for the Shell Group's ambitious plans for the global expansion of the charging infrastructure.

Glattes commented “The majority of German vehicles still run on diesel and petrol. Accordingly, we will continue to offer these fuels at our filling stations for many years to come. However, the number of Shell Recharge charging stations will increase. Some, especially inner-city filling stations, will be converted into mobility hubs, which will then be designed purely for electric cars,”.
