The Shell licensee in Greece, Coral, has announced plans, in partnership with Albanian construction-to-oil conglomerate Kastrati Group, to open the first Shell-branded fuel stations in Albania by the end of 2025.
The upcoming Shell network will provide Albanian drivers with access to Shell's premium products, Coral said in a LinkedIn post on Monday.
The Greek fuel supplier signed an agreement with Kastrati Group last week, aiming to expand its activities in Southeast Europe. The agreement foresees the rebranding of a number of Kastrati gas stations into Shell stations, Kastrati has said.
Coral operates 750 Shell retail stations across Greece, leading the Greek fuel market with a 22% share, according to its website. It also operates 29 Shell stations in Cyprus.
Kastrati’s fuel retail network expands all across Albania, with 85 stations, according to its website
