Achim Bothe, CEO of German retail operator Aral writes on LinkedIn that ARAL and The PRÄG Gruppe - Energiedienstleister are continuing their partnership in the fuel station business.
Together with Marc Deisenhofer and Klaus-Rüdiger Bischoff, Oliver Munnes Achim says that he has extended the agreements. "We are pleased about this successful conclusion and look forward to further cooperation with the Präg Group in the fuel station business".
Präg is a family-owned company with a 120-year history and operates a network of almost 110 petrol stations. This makes it one of the largest medium-sized petrol station network operators in Germany. It sees itself as a comprehensive energy service provider that operates both filling stations and a growing e-charging infrastructure and, as an energy supplier, offers a wide range of energy carriers and solutions.
"This year, we at Aral are celebrating our 100th brand anniversary and are the largest supplier in Germany with around 2,400 petrol stations. In 1924 we invented the world's first super fuel, today we are inventing the petrol station of tomorrow. We rely on a broad fuel portfolio, ultra-fast charging and an attractive convenience offer with our REWE To Go shops" said Achim.
"We believe in the future of petrol stations as a hub of mobility. We set the course at an early stage and invested in our petrol station network in order to respond to a wide range of customer needs. In our view, petrol stations will play an important role in the transport turnaround and the future of mobility in both rural and urban areas"he continued.
Concluding with "Thank you for your trust! Here's to continued good cooperation and good luck!"
