This year we have focused on cloud-based lightweight fuel retail solutions. We presented our new POS solution SIQMA Mobile POS, which can be started without local installation, simply via the browser and can therefore be called from any Internet-enabled terminal device. At first glance, you will notice the new design of the POS system. It has been completely revised and will make working with the new POS even faster and more intuitive. The advantage lies very clearly in the new functions such as the fast processing of sales processes and the high flexibility for the cashier. The cash register can be used flexibly and mobile on a tablet at the entire filling station and thus makes it possible to collect cash directly where the purchase takes place for the customer (e.g. in the bistro or at the car wash). SIQMA Mobile POS has many new functions that make working with the POS even easier. By simply "Swiping" items can be deleted from the shopping cart just like on a smartphone or you can simply "Swipe" yourself through the menus. We have developed new filter and search functions that significantly accelerate many processes. In the event that the station is disconnected from the network, the SIQMA Cloudlink takes control of the filling station and thus guarantees the ability of offline sales. As soon as the station is online again, Cloudlink automatically synchronizes all data generated during the offline phase. The service station operator can quickly access all data again in real time, both locally in the systems at the filling station and in the cloud.
In addition to the new POS, we see the topic of mobile payment as a trend and presented our solution, SIQMA Fuel & Go, which brings mobile payment to the customer's smartphone. Our solution can be easily integrated into existing apps. We have implemented our solution together with clever-tanken and paydirekt and can thus offer an end-to-end solution for the German filling station market. Clever-tanken provides the established price comparison app in the fuel retail market. The secure payment is processed via paydirekt. For this purpose, paydirekt is stored as a payment method in the app of clever-tanken. In the filling station overview of the clever-tanken app, participating filling stations are identified by the paydirekt logo. The driver selects a participating filling station near him. On site he enters the relevant dispenser number and selects the desired fuelling amount or 'Fill up completely'. By fingerprint or by entering a PIN he authorizes the payment of the fuel. By integrating it into the POS system of the filling stations, the cashier receives confirmation that the fuel was paid for with the smartphone. The driver refuels and can continue driving immediately.
We have shown that modern system architecture is not only limited to mobile devices using our SIQMA CRID as an example. Here, the most modern system architecture is concealed in the housing of a Pay at Pump device. SIQMA CRID was developed on the basis of a Linux-based software architecture, via which the intelligence of the SIQMA CRID can also be accessed via the browser. This allows all functions to be controlled and monitored centrally. SIQMA CRID has a modular design so that it can be built as a "standalone" version next to an existing dispenser or mounted under the dispenser head.
Equipped with a face-lift we presented our SIQMA OPT. At first glance, SIQMA OPT has received a new user interface based on the design of the new SIQMA POS. SIQMA OPT is also based on the current Windows10 platform, which, in combination with current hardware, makes the outdoor payment terminal a future-proof investment for every filling station.
