Petron opens 800th site in Malaysia

Petron Malaysia has reached a new milestone for its network of retail stations, with the official opening of its 800th station within the Pedas-Linggi (Southbound) layby on the PLUS North-South Expressway (NSE).

The new retail outlet is a 4,047 sq ft space aimed at catering to motorists both local to the area and those travelling long-distance in the southbound direction, and the station has opened in time for the January school holidays as well as the upcoming festive season, says Petron Malaysia.

The newly-opened station offers the full range of retail fuel products from the brand, namely Blaze 95 Euro 4M (RON 95) petrol, Blaze 97 Euro 4M (RON 97) petrol, Blaze 100 Euro 4M (RON 100) petrol, Turbo Diesel Euro 5 and Diesel Max Euro 5 diesel fuels.

In addition to fuels, the Pedas-Linggi station houses a Treats Mart retail store where customers may purchase in-store products from Dunkin’ and Costa Coffee, as well as use the services of an ATM. This is also the first Petron station that features a Quick Treats booth in the forecourt area, enabling customers to purchase snacks and beverages while staying close to their vehicle, says Petron Malaysia.

“The opening of our 800th service station marks a great end to 2024 and an excellent start to 2025. This shows our commitment to bringing our products and services to more Malaysians, which cater to their fuel needs and many more. As we transform our stations into a place of convenience, we are excited to diversify our non-fuel business and welcome more partners who share our passion for service and excellence,” said Petron Malaysia GM Mohd Nizam Mansor.
