The Ascona, Group one of the UK’s fastest-growing forecourt operators, with 60 sites across the UK, has said acquisitions and upgrades continue to be a "core element" of its growth strategy following a year in which profits rose.
The group offers a retail service offering comprising both commercial partnerships and in-house brands for the more than 300,000 customers it serves every week. It supplies 4.5 million litres of fuel per week, equating to 18 tanker loads per day.
Retail fuel volumes increased from 177mla to 190 mla while bunker volumes rose from 27mla to 31mla. Retail shop sales jumped from £44.3m to £48.7m.
