Prio has completed the purchase of 55 service stations from the Q8 network in Portugal, incorporating the teams from Companhia Portuguesa de Comércio de Produtos Combustíveis, a Vapo Group company that managed the positions in that network
In a statement, Prio said that, with this acquisition, it will now operate more than 300 service stations in the country and that "no relevant structural changes are planned".
The Vapo Group, founded in 2009 and headquartered in Guimarães, had for 10 years exclusively represented Q8 in Portugal, a brand of Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI).
"With the conclusion of the deal with Grupo Prio, Grupo Vapo is now focusing on repositioning its activity," it said in a statement.
