US fuel retailer, CITGO Petroleum, has added its CITGO Pay features to its Club CITGO loyalty app, enabling customers to pay for fuel and access rewards in the same place.
Houston-based CITGO Petroleum Inc. supplies a network of more than 4,400 locally owned and independently operated branded retail outlets.
The branded fuel supplier is aiming to help its independent operators be more successful when they choose CITGO to be their fuel supplier,
Joey Low, manager of loyalty and marketing programs and CSP Category Manager of the Year (CMOY) finalist, told CSP in March. “While our Club CITGO loyalty program is built on fuel discounts, we know that helping retailers grow their inside sales will also benefit their gallon performance,” he said.
CITGO is also working on integrating delivery app technologies into the app, he said.
