In Germany the convenience opoerator "Rewe to Go" is celebrating its premiere on the motorway. In the shop of the motorway petrol station of the Rhynern Nord service area on the A2, "Tank & Rast" opened a "Rewe To Go" yesterday. In a joint pilot project with "Lekkerland", the wholesaler of the "Rewe Group", the company is bringing a new break experience to the motorway.
The heart of the "Rewe To Go" in Rhynern is the "Fresh Island", which offers customers a selection of fresh snacks and dishes for consumption immediately or at home, including wraps, salads, sushi, sandwiches and pasta dishes. Another focus is on coffee specialties, including iced coffee.
"Together with our tenants and well-known partners, we want to offer travellers and commuters attractive opportunities for breaks on the road. We are pleased that our diverse offer is growing with Lekkerland by another great option thanks to this pilot project," says Jennifer Schmidt-Brekenfeld, Managing Director of the motorway "Tank & Rast GmbH".
