Jugopetrol to install PV panels on fuel stations

Jugopetrol is the main fuel retailer in Montenegro with a network of 46 retail fuel stations across the country. It controls a petroleum installation of 110,100 cubic metres with 20 fuel storage reservoirs in the Adriatic town of Bar.

Montenegrin oil products distributor Jugopetrol said it plans to install photovoltaic panels on the rooftops of seven fuel stations in 2025, aiming to cut electricity costs.

This will be the second phase of a project launched in 2024 that included the installation of solar panels at five fuel stations - four in the capital Podgorica and one in the Adriatic resort of Budva, which are already in operation, the company said in a management report posted on the website of the Montenegro Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
