UK based fuel retail chain, Motor Fuel Group, has seen its revenue soar to nearly £7 billion, reflecting its rapid growth and expansion in the UK's petrol forecourt market.
The company, which is now the largest independent forecourt operator in the UK, has expanded from 360 sites to approximately 1,200 sites, trading under various brands including Esso and Shell.
MFG's pro forma earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) are expected to reach about £700 million in the current financial year.
The company's success is attributed to its strategic acquisitions, such as the purchase of 337 Morrison Supermarket petrol forecourts and over 400 sites for the expansion of its EV charging network.
