Spanish supermarket chain Dia has launched its first two stores within BP service stations, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership between the retail and fuel sectors.
The new stores, located in Pozuelo de Alarcón and Las Rozas near Madrid, aim to offer customers a convenient shopping experience while refuelling or using other BP services.
Branded as “Dia&Go,” these stores provide a selection of everyday essentials, including fresh produce, dairy, snacks, and household products.
The initiative reflects a growing trend in Spain towards integrating convenience retail into service stations, catering to busy consumers who value efficiency and accessibility. Dia plans to expand the concept to a total of 10 stores across Madrid and Andalusia in the near future
