ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. has entered into an agreement with Chandra Asri Group to sell its network of Esso-branded retail service stations in Singapore. An ExxonMobil spokesman said "Our decision to move to a branded wholesale model aligns with how we market fuels around the world and reflects our ongoing efforts to strengthen our business portfolio".

Chandra Asri will continue to provide Esso branded fuels and will operate the service stations under the Esso brand, which has a long and rich history in Singapore.

The statement continued "We anticipate business as usual during the transition period and will work with Chandra Asri to provide a smooth experience for our customers, including its continued recognition of loyalty program benefits. The sale is expected to close before year-end, subject to regulatory approvals and other matters.
