YPF acquires 100% of Refinor in Argentina

With the full acquisition of Refinor, YPF optimizes its logistics, strengthens the strategic infrastructure of the NOA, and guarantees the supply of fuel in seven provinces

In a new move that reinforces YPF's role as the axis of the national energy policy, the state-owned company has completed the acquisition of Hidrocarburos del Norte's stake in Refinor, a company that operates throughout the value chain of fuel and gas transportation and marketing in the north of the country.

With this transaction, YPF now controls 100% of the company's share package, which will continue to operate as part of the YPF Group.

Refinor manages a network of more than 70 service stations distributed across Tucumán, Salta, Santiago del Estero, La Rioja, Jujuy, Catamarca, and Chaco, making the company an essential player in ensuring energy supply in northern Argentina.

Following this acquisition, YPF strengthens its commitment to operational continuity and fuel supply throughout the region, enhancing the predictability and efficiency of the energy system.

In its official statement, the oil company reported that it will work to "align Refinor's operational standards with the best practices and processes that YPF promotes throughout its value chain," consolidating a more modern and competitive management model.
