Certas Energy is actively expanding its unmanned site portfolio in the UK, aiming to double the size of its Gulf-branded Fuel Express filling stations to 82 sites by the end of the decade.
The company currently operates 41 Fuel Express outlets and is actively seeking out operators who might be considering selling or leasing their forecourts, as well as looking for land to construct new sites.
Certas is open to various options for these sites, including previously closed petrol stations, old car washes, or new land that is completely new to the industry.
The company is prioritizing sites that contribute to regional economic regeneration, including remote locations in Scotland where no other filling stations are available.
Certas's unmanned format provides a low-cost platform for growth and offers landowners a secure, low-touch income stream.
