France has reached a significant milestone in the expansion of low-carbon fuels, with 4,000 service stations nationwide now offering E85.
Thanks to sustained commitment from fuel distributors, E85 is available at 42% of all French forecourts, making it increasingly accessible to motorists seeking a more economical and environmentally responsible fuel option.
With an average price of €0.72 per litre, and an average annual mileage of 13,000 km, drivers can save around €735 per year compared with using SP95-E10, even after accounting for a 25% increase in consumption.
High-mileage motorists covering 20,000 km annually can save approximately €1,130.
Nearly 93% of French residents now live within 10 km of an E85 station, and the “Mes Stations E85” mobile app offers real-time price updates and location services to support growing demand.
