Electrocharge, Electrohold Bulgaria's electric vehicle (EV) changing stations chain, and local fuel retailer Petrol are launching the installation of more than 200 EV charging points over the next three years.
The first completed EV charging point is located at a Petrol fuel station in the capital Sofia, and has an installed capacity of 120 kW. Electrohold Bulgaria, the electricity supply and distribution arm of Eurohold Bulgaria.
The EV charging network expansion aims to provide more uniform coverage across the country and support the development of electromobility through predictable and reliable infrastructure.
The charging stations will be installed on key road connections, highways and major urban locations.
