Q8 Denmark up for sale

OKQ8 Scandinavia has announced its intention to sell Q8 Denmark, which operates 241 gas stations and employs 1,700 people. The group plans to focus on its Swedish business as the energy market transition requires more concentrated investments.

Helle Dahlgren Skov, head of Q8 Denmark, stated that daily operations will continue unchanged to ensure stability for customers and employees.

She emphasized that the company remains a profitable, well-run business, reporting a profit of 125 million DKK and turnover of 6.2 billion DKK in the latest fiscal year.

While no negotiations have begun and the price remains undisclosed, Skov dismissed the move as an emergency sale, noting the timing is right for the right buyer.
