In Chile, the private equity fund Southern Cross Group sealed an agreement to sell 100% of Rentas y Desarrollo Baker SpA to the Investment Manager GSI Capital, a management company.
The transaction includes 88 Aramco-branded service stations located across the country, from Arica to Punta Arenas, leased under long-term agreements to Esmax alongside other tenants.
The magnitude of the portfolio and the quality of its contracts, mainly with Aramco Chile. position this move as a milestone in the evolution of Chile's real estate business associated with energy retail, in a context where investors are looking for stable assets, with long-term flows and high occupancy.
