The merger between Gull and NPD has been completed, creating a new entity known as NPDGull.
This merger has brought together a network of 240 retail sites, expanding the company's presence across New Zealand. The new entity aims to enhance its North Island operations, grow its delivery fleet, increase storage capacity, and hire additional staff to improve service quality and competitiveness.
NPDGull will continue to operate under its existing brands, Gull and NPD, while also launching a national commercial fuel offer. The merger was cleared by the Commerce Commission in May, and the new entity is expected to leverage its scale to offer competitive fuel prices and maintain low costs.
