OG Clean Fuels has acquired 11 (Bio-)CNG filling stations from the Italian operator X3. With the acquisition, the company further expands its European network and strengthens its position as a provider of clean fuels for road transport.
The acquisition follows the acquisition of Proviridis in France last year and is in line with OG Clean Fuels' European growth strategy. The addition of the 11 locations will increase the network to approximately 400 filling stations spread across the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, France and Italy.
In Italy, the presence of OG Clean Fuels will increase from four to fifteen locations. According to the company, this strengthens its position in a strategic market for international road transport. The expansion should contribute to the ambition to achieve a turnover of approximately 150 million euros by 2026.
"This acquisition strengthens our European network and significantly increases our impact in Italy, a key market for connecting critical transport corridors. With this step, we are getting closer to our ambition to build a European infrastructure that makes clean transport accessible everywhere," says CEO Marcel Borger.
