Nayax introduces a biometric age verification system for self-service retail. The solution is to be integrated directly into the payment process and is aimed at operators of vending machines with age-restricted products, among others.
Operators of tobacco vending machines and other self-service services are faced with the task of complying with youth protection requirements and at the same time enabling the fastest possible purchase process.
The new age verification of "Nayax" is handled directly via the payment terminal: The customer uses the browser of his smartphone for this, a separate app is not required, according to the company.
